How to tell whether your website is bringing clients
Visits, bookings and payments answer different questions. Follow the complete journey before deciding what to change.
Separate low traffic from low booking conversion
If few people reach the website, begin with discovery: share its address in your business channels, check the information and ensure pages are accessible. If visitors arrive but rarely book, review service descriptions, prices, availability and the phone experience.
Track comparable steps
Compare visits, calendar opens and completed bookings over the same period. Respect consent choices in analytics tools. Separate tests and cancellations from actual appointments. Use Search Console to understand which searches display your website and generate clicks.
Change one thing at a time
Choose a specific hypothesis: an unclear description, limited availability or a hard-to-find button. Make the change and review a comparable period. Small numbers of visits can create large percentage swings; a small sample does not prove an improvement. No tool guarantees sales.
